With a 150-grit abrasive, it is well suited to more aggressive sanding tasks such as removing excess plastic, refining rough surfaces, shaping putty, and cleaning up larger imperfections before progressing to finer abrasives. AK Interactive specifically describes the stick as intended for basic shaping.

The rigid stick format provides more controlled sanding than loose sandpaper when working on model parts, while the quality abrasive is designed for extended use. The abrasive grade is identified by the colour of the stick, making it easy to distinguish from AK Interactive's medium, fine, and extra-fine sanding sticks. It is a useful first-stage sanding tool for Gunpla, scale models, figures, and scratch-building projects.

Features:

AK Interactive precision sanding stick

Product code: AK9174

Grit: 150

Coarse abrasive for initial sanding

Designed for basic shaping and material removal

Useful for smoothing rough surfaces and excess plastic

Suitable for shaping model putty

Rigid stick provides controlled sanding

Durable abrasive designed for extended use

Colour-coded abrasive grade for easy identification

Ideal as the first step before moving to finer grits

Suitable for Gunpla, scale models, figures, and scratch building

Useful for removing nub marks and refining larger imperfections

Includes:

1 × AK Interactive AK9174 Coarse Sanding Stick, 150 grit
