4 track Crawler

Experience the mechanics of tracked vehicles with the Tamiya 4-Track Crawler, an engaging build from Tamiya's Educational Construction Series. Instead of conventional wheels, this unique crawler uses four independently pivoting triangular track units to tackle uneven terrain, small obstacles, and loose surfaces with impressive stability. Designed as both a fun model and a hands-on STEM learning project, it offers an excellent introduction to gearboxes, tracked drivetrains, and mechanical engineering while delivering plenty of all-terrain fun.

The crawler is designed for easy assembly using a combination of snap-fit parts and screws, making it accessible to builders of all skill levels. A Type 130 motor powers the robust four-track drivetrain, while the pivoting front axle helps each track maintain contact with the ground for improved climbing performance. Measuring approximately 200 mm in length, the completed model can even accept bodies from selected Tamiya Wild Mini 4WD kits after removing the protective roll bar, offering additional customization possibilities. Two AA batteries (sold separately) are required for operation.
