AK Acrylic Gloss Varnish

AK Interactive AK11239 3rd Gen Gloss Varnish is a water-based acrylic varnish designed to provide a smooth gloss finish on figures, vehicles, scale models, and other hobby projects. It can be used as a protective finishing layer or to prepare a smooth surface for subsequent weathering and decal work. AK Interactive specifically describes this formula as part of its 3rd Generation range of acrylic products.

The varnish can be applied with either a brush or airbrush, making it suitable for both detailed figure work and larger model surfaces. For airbrush application, AK Interactive recommends thinning it with AK11500 Acrylic Thinner. Shake the product thoroughly before use to ensure the varnish is properly mixed and ready for application.
