AK-Black Widow Glue

AK Interactive AK12016 Black Widow is a specialized cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesive formulated with rubber particles to provide a stronger and more flexible bond than conventional super glue. Its low-viscosity formula is particularly suited to bonding materials that can be difficult to join with standard plastic cement, including metal, rubber, and plastic.

The rubber reinforcement gives the cured joint additional flexibility, making Black Widow especially useful for photo-etched metal parts, mixed-material assemblies, modifications, and model components that may experience some movement or stress. The adhesive sets in approximately 60-120 seconds, while the manufacturer's specifications list a 24-hour definitive cure time. For best results, surfaces should be clean and free of dust, grease, and other contaminants before application.
