Dspiae Tungsten Steel carving Broach (.5MM)

The DSPIAE PB-05 Tungsten Steel Push Broach is a precision carving and scribing tool designed for creating clean, consistent panel lines and recessed details on plastic model kits. With a 0.5 mm working width, it is well suited to medium-width panel lines and mechanical details on Gunpla, scale models, and other plastic hobby projects. Its fully forged tungsten steel construction provides a hard, sharp cutting edge designed for precise material removal.

The PB-05 is used by pushing the broach through the plastic to carve a straight, controlled groove. It can be used to deepen existing panel lines, create new mechanical details, remove unwanted plastic, and refine areas around model modifications. The tungsten steel construction provides excellent hardness and wear resistance, while the sharp ground edge helps produce clean cuts with controlled pressure. Because tungsten steel can be brittle if excessive force is applied, light and deliberate passes are recommended.

The broach features a 3.175 mm shank, making it compatible with the DSPIAE AT-TH 3.175 mm Clamp Holding Handle. The holder is sold separately, allowing builders to select the handle that best suits their scribing setup.
