Gundam_Paint/Marker GM502 Clear Matte

The GSI Creos GM502 Gundam Marker Matte Clear is a water-based clear coating designed specifically for use with Gundam Markers and plastic model kits. It provides a matte finish that helps reduce the glossy appearance of bare plastic and painted surfaces, making it useful for giving Gunpla a more subdued, finished appearance. Because the formula contains no solvent, it can be applied over Gundam Marker paint without attacking the underlying marker colour.

GM502 can be applied directly with the marker or used with the Gundam Marker Airbrush system. The clear coating is weaker than solvent-based clear coats, however, so the finished surface should be handled carefully after drying to avoid rubbing or peeling the coating. It is particularly useful for builders who want a simple, low-setup way to finish Gundam Marker-painted parts.
