HG 1/144 GM III (Axis Shock Image Color)

The HG 1/144 GM III (Axis Shock Image Color) from Bandai Spirits recreates the RGM-86R GM III as seen during the climactic Axis Shock sequence in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. This special-colour edition celebrates the scene in which Federation mobile suits join Amuro Ray’s Nu Gundam in attempting to push the asteroid Axis away from Earth. Originally released through GUNDAM SIDE-F, this distinctive version features metallic-coloured moulded parts inspired by the dramatic lighting and atmosphere of the film’s iconic finale.

The 1/144 scale High Grade kit features articulated joints for dynamic posing, along with a clear visor component that adds detail to the GM III’s recognisable head design. Its metallic-inspired colour scheme extends to the newly coloured polycaps, creating a coordinated appearance throughout the model. Original marking stickers provide additional surface detailing, making this a distinctive addition for collectors recreating the final battle from Char’s Counterattack.
