The HIYA Toys Exquisite Basic Godzilla (2002)is an articulated action figure based on Godzilla’s appearance in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. This Millennium-era incarnation of the King of the Monsters faces Kiryu, the mechanised weapon developed using the skeleton of the original Godzilla. The figure faithfully recreates the film’s Godzilla design, featuring intense dark grey skin, fierce eyes, a reptilian mouth, and sharply defined dorsal fins. Weathered paint applications on the teeth and claws add realism to this imposing kaiju collectible.
Standing approximately 18 cm (7 inches) tall, this Exquisite Basic Series figurefeatures multiple points of articulation, including enhanced head movement for dynamic display poses. Layered paintwork highlights the dorsal fins, while the textured skin and carefully sculpted facial details capture Godzilla’s on-screen appearance. Two interchangeable hands provide additional posing options for recreating memorable battle scenes from the film.
