Mechanical Blowfish CLR Pink

Bring engineering and aquatic fun together with the Tamiya Mechanical Blowfish (Clear Pink Body) from the popular Robocraft Series. This limited colour variation features a vibrant transparent pink upper body that lets you watch the internal gears and linkages in action as the blowfish swims through the water. Inspired by the gentle movement of a real pufferfish, the model uses a clever crank-and-linkage mechanism to swing its tail fin from side to side, propelling itself smoothly across calm water. It's an entertaining project that combines basic mechanical engineering with hands-on building and play.

Designed for builders of all skill levels, the kit assembles using a combination of snap-fit parts and screws, with no soldering required. The waterproof body houses a Type 130 motor, gearbox, battery compartment, and switch, all sealed using waterproof tape and rubber O-rings to help keep water out during operation. Builders can even adjust the tail fin angle to change the swimming direction, making it fun to experiment with movement and control. Whether you're looking for an educational STEM project, a unique gift, or an eye-catching addition to your Tamiya Robocraft collection, the Mechanical Blowfish (Clear Pink Body) is sure to make a splash.
