Mr. Hobby Marker Shade Off Marker

The Mr. Hobby CM100 Shade Off Marker is a water-based blending and removal marker designed for use with the Mr. Hobby Marker series. It allows modelers to partially remove, soften, and blend marker colour after application, making it useful for correcting small mistakes as well as creating subtle weathering and shading effects. The marker is particularly helpful when working with the metallic Mr. Hobby Marker colours, allowing excess colour to be softened without requiring a separate liquid cleaner.

CM100 can be used to clean up areas where marker colour has extended beyond the intended detail, such as panel lines or small painted sections. It can also be used deliberately to create weathered or faded effects by partially lifting previously applied colour. Its water-based formulation is designed not to attack the underlying surface, making it suitable for controlled detailing on plastic models.

The marker is intended specifically for the new water-based Mr. Hobby Marker series and should not be used as a blending or removal pen for Mr. Hobby's alcohol-based paint markers.
