Mr HOBBY Real Touch Marker - Yellow

The GSI Creos / Mr. Hobby Real Touch Marker Yellow 1 GM409 is a water-based weathering marker designed to add subtle dirt, staining, shading, and colour variation to Gunpla and other plastic models. Unlike standard paint markers intended for solid colour coverage, the Real Touch series is formulated to create translucent, blended effects that can give a model a more realistic, lived-in appearance.

The marker features both a fine and broad tip, allowing it to be used for precise detailing or wider weathering applications. Because the paint is water-based and wipe-off, excess colour can be softened or removed, while the GM400 Shade Off/Blending Marker can be used to blend the edges and create smoother gradients. This makes GM409 Yellow 1 particularly useful for subtle staining, highlights, and weathering effects rather than full-part painting.
