Oil Paint ABT035-Buff

Abteilung 502 ABT035 Buff is a light-toned oil colour designed specifically for scale-model weathering, particularly for creating realistic dust, dirt, fading, and subtle tonal variation. Its pale beige tone can be mixed with other colours to create customized dust effects or applied selectively to alter the appearance of an existing finish.

Buff is especially useful for shading white and light-grey surfaces without the harsh contrast that a darker weathering colour can produce. It can also be used to illuminate brown, sand, and three-colour camouflage finishes, making it a versatile colour for military models, vehicles, Gunpla, dioramas, and other scale-model projects. Abteilung 502 oils use a reduced-oil formulation intended to produce more matte finishes while retaining the blendability and control associated with oil paints.
