Oil Paint ABT100-Neutral Grey

Abteilung 502 ABT100 Neutral Grey is a versatile oil colour developed specifically for scale modeling and weathering. This balanced grey is useful for creating highlights and shadows on ships, aircraft, science-fiction vehicles, and figures wearing dark uniforms. It can also be used to adjust and enrich existing grey finishes, making it a practical staple for a modeler's oil-weathering palette.

Neutral Grey is particularly useful for washes and filters over red, yellow, black, and blue surfaces, where its neutral tone can add subtle depth and tonal variation without introducing a strong colour bias. It can also be worked into camouflage grey finishes to create faded or weathered appearances. Abteilung 502 oils use a reduced-oil formulation intended to provide a more matte finish and controlled working characteristics. The paint contains PW4 and PBk7 pigments and is supplied in a 20 ml tube.
