Oil Paint ABT112-Matt Effect Thinner

The Abteilung 502 ABT112 Matt Effect Thinner is a specialized thinner designed for working with oil paints, washes, filters, and glazes while simultaneously reducing their gloss. Its built-in matting agent helps produce a more natural, subdued finish, making it particularly useful for scale-model weathering and figure painting.

The ultra-smooth formula can be used with a wide range of oil and enamel-based weathering products. Because the matting agent can settle in the bottle, the manufacturer recommends shaking the container well before use to redistribute the particles. The 100 ml bottle provides plenty of thinner for repeated filtering, washing, and oil-weathering projects.
