Oil Paint ABT250-Magenta

Abteilung 502 ABT250 Magenta is a versatile oil colour formulated specifically for scale-model painting and weathering. This strong magenta tone can be used on its own for colour accents or mixed with other oils to create a wide range of effects. Abteilung 502 specifically describes Magenta as a useful colour for modifying grey base tones, making it a valuable addition to a weathering and colour-modulation palette.

The slow-working characteristics of oil paint make ABT250 useful for techniques such as filters, colour modulation, fading, and localized tonal variation. It can be applied to Gunpla, plastic models, figures, vehicles, structures, and dioramas where subtle shifts in colour can add depth and visual interest. The colour can also be combined with other Abteilung 502 oils to produce custom shades and weathering effects. The Abteilung 502 range uses a reduced-oil formula intended to provide a more controlled, relatively matte finish compared with conventional artist oils.
