Oil Paint ABT260-Oxide Patina

The Abteilung 502 ABT260 Patina Oxide oil colour is a specialized weathering product designed to create subtle oxidation and rust effects on scale models and dioramas. Rather than simply painting on a strong rust colour, Patina Oxide can be applied over an existing base colour and then partially removed, leaving behind a translucent, aged layer that helps create convincing surface variation.

This oil colour is particularly useful for weathering rusted metal structures, vehicles, machinery, and other aged surfaces. It can also be combined with other rust-coloured oils to create different oxidation tones and more complex weathering effects. The 20 ml tube provides plenty of material for repeated weathering projects.
