Panel Line Pen Extra Fine - Mr. Hobby GM02 Gray

The Mr. Hobby GM02 Gray Panel Line Pen is an extra-fine marker designed to add definition and depth to recessed panel lines and engraved details on Gunpla and other plastic model kits. Its gray ink provides a softer, more subtle contrast than black, making it especially effective on white and other light-coloured parts where a strong black line may appear too harsh.

The fine tip allows the ink to be applied directly into recessed panel lines and small surface details, making panel lining quick and accessible without requiring brushes, thinner, or liquid panel washes. Excess ink on unpainted plastic can be removed with a standard rubber eraser, allowing builders to clean up overspill and achieve a controlled finish. Mr. Hobby recommends the gray version for light-coloured parts and situations where a more subdued panel-line effect is desired.

The GM02 is intended primarily for use directly on molded plastic. Care should be taken when applying it over painted surfaces, as its ink can affect certain Mr. Color, Gundam Color, Aqueous Hobby Color, and Gundam Marker finishes.
