Sanding Sponge 1000 Tamiya

The Tamiya Sanding Sponge Sheet 1000 is a flexible abrasive sheet designed for smoothing and finishing plastic model parts. Its P1000 aluminum oxide abrasive is well suited for refining surfaces after removing parts from runners, smoothing seam lines, and preparing plastic for painting. The flexible sponge backing makes it particularly useful for sanding curved and contoured surfaces where rigid sanding tools can be difficult to use.

The sheet has a 5 mm-thick sponge backing that provides flexibility while helping the abrasive conform to the shape of the part. It can be cut into smaller pieces with a hobby knife and is suitable for both dry and wet sanding, making it a versatile finishing material for Gunpla, scale models, and other plastic model projects.
