AK Interactive AK9023 400 Grit Sandpaper (Dry) is a flexible abrasive designed for dry sanding and surface preparation during scale-modeling projects. The 400-grit abrasive provides a useful balance between material removal and surface refinement, making it suitable for smoothing plastic parts, cleaning up nub marks, refining seams, and preparing surfaces before finer sanding stages.

The sandpaper is supplied as convenient 11 × 1 cm strips, allowing hobbyists to work comfortably around small model parts and reach areas that can be difficult to sand with larger sheets. Once a strip becomes worn, it can simply be discarded and replaced with a fresh piece. AK Interactive recommends progressing from coarser grits to finer grits when working toward a smooth finished surface.
