Tamiya PL accent Colour Black

Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color Black is a pre-thinned enamel wash designed to emphasize recessed panel lines, seams, and other surface details on plastic models. The black colour provides strong contrast and is a versatile choice for adding definition across a wide range of subjects, including Gunpla, vehicles, aircraft, military models, and mechanical details. Tamiya formulates the paint at a ready-to-use viscosity so it can flow easily into recessed details.

Application is simple: use the fine brush built into the bottle cap to place a small amount into a panel line or recessed area and allow the paint to flow along the detail. Once dry, excess can be cleaned away with enamel thinner. Tamiya recommends applying Panel Line Accent Color over a suitable lacquer or acrylic base coat. Care should be taken with bare plastic, movable parts, and load-bearing areas, as the enamel solvent can potentially make some plastic parts brittle.
