Tamiya PL accent Colour Dark Grey

Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color Dark Gray is a pre-thinned enamel panel lining wash designed to bring out recessed panel lines and surface details on plastic model kits. The Dark Gray shade provides a softer, more subtle contrast than black, making it particularly effective on white, light gray, and silver parts where a black panel line can appear too harsh.

Ideal for Gunpla, aircraft, vehicles, and other scale models, the paint is formulated to flow into recessed details with minimal effort. Simply shake the bottle thoroughly and use the fine brush built into the cap to apply the wash directly to panel lines and other recesses. Once dry, excess paint can be removed with enamel thinner, allowing clean and controlled detailing. Tamiya recommends applying Panel Line Accent Color over a suitable lacquer or acrylic base coat.

As with other enamel panel washes, care should be taken when applying it to bare plastic or movable and load-bearing parts, as the enamel solvent can make plastic brittle or damage certain underlying finishes. Testing on a spare part or runner is recommended before applying it to a finished model.
